Per UR's official support article 'Unsupported Countries and Territories' (support.ur.app, KYC label, updated 2026-07-22): UR (SR Saphirstein AG, FINMA-supervised Swiss fintech) is available only in selected countries, and anyone domiciled in the ~206 listed countries/territories cannot register for a UR account — this blocklist already includes the United States, China, India, Russia, Iran, North Korea, most of Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. Separately, 'Restricted Nationalities' (USA incl. Guam/American Samoa/Northern Mariana Islands/Puerto Rico/US Minor Outlying Islands, Iran, North Korea, Russia) cannot complete KYC even if domiciled in a supported country. UR publishes no official supported-country allowlist; the '44 countries' figure is a marketing approximation.
Issuer’s markets: Available in a limited set of supported countries (no official allowlist published); most of Africa, the Americas, Asia and Oceania are blocked.
